Hi everyone - I'm totally new to this board but would be forever grateful if anyone recognises this song - I'm sure it was an Irish folksong but I may be wrong - ther lyrics were something like this....

And that's about all I remember of it - and I would so like to know what it was called and who sang it as it holds very dear memories for me.
