i am looking for the words of a song about michael collins it goes like this
An old man whispered in my ear twas the saddest thing he knew
when irelands proudest son was shot at the age of 32. He held my hand his eyes held tears and my eyes filled up to with a powerful emotion for a man i never knew.

Hi,
I like this song but was disappointed because it was not the one I was looking for. I have been looking for another song which starts with a poem and then has the lines 'the big fella has fallen Michael Collins is dead'

We had it on tape and can't find it and I would love to find it again as it is a lovely song

I hope somebody can help find it for me
