LITTLE OLD LOG CABIN?
I wondered if anyone knows this song. My dad taught it to me when I was about 6 years old. I can remember a little bit of it now and sadly my dad was killed in a road traffic accident almost two years ago now in Dublin and I can't find anyone else who knows it. The opening went a bit like this:
'Go sell the pig and cow agrah
To take you far away
For your dear auld parents you must leave behind

In that land beyond the sea
For in Paddy's land but poverty you'll find'
I'm hoping that's enough to jog someone else's memory. It'd be a great comfort to me if you tell me the rest of the song.
