Is it in the blood ?

I am a Brummie but have been told that im more Irish than the Irish. I have got jet black hair and pale skin and i love Irish rebel songs and reels. My Grandparents were Irish and its come through in the blood. My ex husband was Irish and even though we live in Brum, my daughter loves the music and when we hear the music we all start dancing so is it in the blood ?
