ballymena across the harbour

My Mum and Grandma are both desperate to re-learn a song that my mums grandma used to sing at them, only they cant remember many lyrics. I have searched everywhere but not knowing much isnt helpful- can anyone help? The lyrics I have are:

Ballymena, ballymena across the harbour
Bring the ballymena to me
And paint the ballymena black

Or something similar. Please help- I am worried the song is lost forever!
